Rooster gets bath for Amador Fair
Tuesday, July 22, 2008 By Jim Reece From left, Tracey Towner-Yep, Joe Hickman, Tyler Fenley and Michael Rabaino of the Amador County Recreation Agency turn from Rec-ing Crew to Rooster Cleaners. The rooster, owned by Towner-Yep, was then taken to the Amador County Fair grounds in Plymouth to become part of the ACRA's display in one of the buildings during the fair. The fair opens this week with horses, rabbits, calves and goats competing Wednesday at the Benny Brown Arena. For information, call the fair office at 245-6921.
